Candice Blansett-Cummins is an artist, thinker, teacher, student, entrepreneur and very concerned global-citizen with more ideas than she can use. She’s also a coffee-swillin’ white-hair who has been around the corporate block.
In addition to leading The Wishcraft Workshop® in Chicago and The Yellow Canoe as Chief Experience Officer, Candice coaches clients and corporations in solving problems and creating opportunities large and small, globally and locally. Following careers with Gap, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company, Candice was appointed Vice President and Divisional CIO of Sony Pictures Television International. During her tenure with Sony Pictures, she fostered an inter-disciplinary creativity program, motivating partnership and problem-solving at all levels. As a speaker at UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Creativity & Innovation in the Organization program and Founder of the Let’s Rally program in Chicago, Candice has shared her perspective with executives and entrepreneurs from around the world.
Candice is the newly-appointed Executive Director of Local First Chicago and donates her resources and artistic energy to be nice around town and around the globe with various organizations. She has been married over 24 years to the same crazy professor, parents two teens and coddles one adorable rescue mutt while hoarding green beauty products and books, and designing clothes she will likely never sew.
